Comprised of: 1) Model 1803 Infantryman’s Briquet has a curved blade of 23-1/2". Solid brass hilt with knuckle-bow and ribbed grip. Contained in a black leather scabbard with two brass mounts. Single belt loop. 2) Grenadier Saber has a curved blade of 25-1/2", having a single fuller with ricasso bearing crowns and ciphers. One-piece brass hilt. Top of quillon with stamps: "75.J.R. o". Lobiat guard, spiral grip and spherical pommel. Both swords with wear and pitting present.
