With scabbard. Having a 33-1/4" unadorned curved blade. Hilt of conventional form with integral languets, wood grip scales and hole for sword knot. Contained in original scabbard with inscription: Presented by His Highness/Mehemet Ali/Pacha of Egypt To/W.B. Barham/Alexandria/Sept. 14th 1833. Black leather-covered wood with four silver-finished mounts. Two hanging rings. Sword and scabbard with wear and age patina.
