A late 19th century cigar trade stimulator that turned into a money making gold mine for the operator/proprietor of the store. Virtually nothing mechanical could go wrong with these simplistic machines yet the gentleman coming in to purchase a cigar was always guaranteed at least one if not two or more cigars for taking a chance and dropping a nickel in the slot. Impressed with a patent date of 1895 upon the wooden base this machine is in very fine original condition. Simplistic yet still a very visually appealing machine!
