Offered is a percussion mid-19th century London double 20 bore with exposed hammers and double triggers. Both of the drop side plates are stamped “Duggan” and features light scroll engraving, as well as engraving on tang and both hammers. Has a checkered walnut stock with engraved trigger guard, forend, and trap. Single wedge barrel retention system. Stock is very good to excellent, complete, with some finish loss but no cracks. Iron furniture is a grey patina. Has twist barrels. Fine, clean, shiny bores. Perfect back action locks. Barrels are Damascus steel with full rib, finely browned with no dents or repairs. Comes in a period walnut case with original paper label (not readable). Accessories include shot bag, powder flask, two cap tins, double cavity bullet mold, and a period oak cleaning rod. Fine old period piece.
