24” barrel in .22-250 Remington caliber. This is the Varmint Special with the heavy barrel, which Remington was the first to introduce the first standard production rifle with a heavy barrel. Features blued finish. No sights. Barrel has two scope black tap holes. Receiver bridge, fore and aft, have four factory scope tap holes (fillers missing). Has the high gloss pistol grip checkered walnut stock with Monte Carlo rollover cheek piece and black composite buttplate and gripcap. Factory sling eyes. Black forend tip has been customized by changing profile to a 45 degree radius. Rifle retains about 95% original blue finish with light muzzle wear and some scattered spots. Wood is excellent with some minor dings. Bolt is jeweled. Trigger guard retains approximately 95% original finish. Fine bore and action.
