6-3/4” barrel in .22 rim-fire caliber. This pistol was manufactured in 1927 and dates to the first year of the marked Woodsman Target pistol. Features include target front sight, wind drift rear sight, blued finish and fully checkered walnut grips. Has the original two-toned Colt magazine stamped “CAL. 22 COLT”. Grips are excellent with no cracks or chips. Light wear at base. Pistol exhibits some light muzzle wear with a couple of minor spots on right side of barrel showing metal and high edge wear to slide. Still retains 95% blue on both straps. Strong clean bore and fine action. This pistol comes with the original test target by serial number that shows it was tested by famed Colt employee Fitz (John Henry Fitzgerald employed 1918 - 1944).
