A very early cast iron & tin trade stimulator manufactured in 1892 by The World’s Fair Slot Machine Company. After slipping a nickel into the coin slot and then pushing the lever in, the arrow in the “dish” area spins about, giving one their fortune. In the meantime, a bell “dings” while a token (a few are present with the machine) of various value is dispensed. The enameled black iron base with gilt floral trims is highlighted by the colorful playfield. By studying the machine one cannot help but be impressed. Only a handful of these exist today. This one has a serial number 5278. Includes key.
