A fine earlier 20th century French horse race gambling machine. By selecting the color of your choice, red/white/black, the horses spin about and if lucky enough to have played the winning horse, a bell would ring and a token(many included) delivered to the payout cup. A nice fruitwood cabinet with a marquetry inlay, fanciful marquee and adorned with jockey heads at upper corners further adds to the presence of this unusual machine. The machine takes the French coinage, 10 centines, but seems to work on English pennies as well.
