April 9th & 10th Premier Firearms Sale (MFIRE)
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 4/9/2016
Barrel length is 6”. Caliber is .357 Magnum. The Colt 357 Magnum Model was manufactured from 1953 to 1961 with approximately 15,000 manufactured. This revolver was manufactured in 1954. Standard features: six shot, double action, blue finish, high ramp front sight, adjustable rear target sight, wide spur target hammer, serrated trigger, full checkered silver medallion, walnut grips. Left side of barrel is stamped “Colt 357”. There is a light drag line, some light cylinder wear, and some light mussel wear, but still retains approximately 95%-96% original factory finish. Fully checkered walnut grips are excellent and are highly desirable in their own right as they are the same type that’s found on the early Colt Pythons. As a result, many of these fine revolvers have had their grips removed and used by Python collectors on the much more valuable Python. Action is as smooth as silk with perfect lockup and a strong clean bore.
