Caliber is .38 special, barrel length is 8”. Manufactured in 1980. Offered is an extremely scarce, full factory nickel, Colt Python Target .38 special. Features; full vent rib, full lug, target rear sight, wide target hammer, serrated trigger, six shot, double action, Colt gold medallion checkered walnut grips with straight cut. Gun shows no signs of having been fired except for factory test. 100% factory original nickel finish, mint grips, bore and action. Comes in the original box with hang tag and instructions. Cylinder does have light drag line. Original box is very good with wear, matching end label. This is one of the rare production Pythons. Only 251 Python targets were manufactured in nickel finish. An identical gun can be found on page 74 in the “Seven Serpents” book.
