20” barrel in .44 rimfire. Manufactured 1871. This carbine is standard in all respects. Features a full magazine, two barrel bands, integral front sight to band, two leaf folding rear sight. Strong readable barrel legend. Barrel and tube are a smooth dark blue-brown patina with no pits. Brass frame is a lovely patina. Walnut stocks are dark. Wood to metal fit, while not proud, is nearly flush. Buttstock has been freshened up at some point. Has the steel carbine butt plate. Fine action. Remarkably strong, clean bore. Original saddle ring and stud. Overall, a very fine and good locking 66 Yellow Boy.
