Barrel length is 18”. This is a .22 rim fire over .44 smooth bore. Serial No. is 3776. This is a very early model 1908. It was manufactured until 1914. Features a 18” barrel that is chambered for the .22 rim fire over the 44-center fire shot smooth bore. Has blued finish with marble logo, black composite grip. Has the original folding stock. Left side of frame is stamped “Game Getter”. Left side of barrel has manufacturer information. Right side of barrel stamped with caliber. Right side of frame stamped patent allowed. Has the type one folding peep sight. .44 smooth bore has some light abrasions. 22 bore is shiny with good rifling. Has perfect action. Barrel retains approximately 90 percent original factory blue with some minor age freckling and thinning. Frame is a mix of blue and brown patina with some light freckling on left side and a hint of touch up finish. Excellent original grips, fire blue screws. Stock is excellent. This rare early Game Getter comes with an original period holster and shoulder strap. The shoulder strap is stamped “marble game getter” and is an extremely scarce accessory in itself.
