24” barrel in caliber .32 Winchester Special. Manufactured 1935. The Model 64 was simply the Model 1894 with numerous upgrades offered as standard. Features full round barrel, half magazine, ramp front sight (no hood), Winchester sporting rear sight, blue finish, walnut for-end, plain walnut pistol grip stock with flutes, and checkered steel shotgun butt-plate. This rifle remains in beautiful all original condition. The frame has some high edge wear and a bit of thinning at base. Easily 97% original finish remains. Lever retains 40% blue. Bolt retains 99% blue. Screw heads are untouched. Barrel and tube cap show light wear with a couple of very minor marks and 98% original blue remaining. For-end tip and butt-plate are a grey-brown patina. Wood is excellent with original finish, proud to metal, and no cracks or chips, just a couple minor abrasions. Strong clean bore. Perfect action. This is a very fine example of an early pre-war Model 64.
