Caliber 44-40 WCF. These rifles were manufactured from 1913-1934. They feature full round barrel with full magazine, easily distinguished for this model as the tube does not have the spiral needed for Spitzer bullets. They are extremely scarce in today’s market and highly desirable given the caliber. They have the full blued finish with grooved walnut forend, plain pistol grip stock, with the steel checkered Remington logo butt pipe. The barrel and frame retain approximately 80% original factory blue with overall age freckling and high edge wear. Thinning at breech. Tube is a mix of silver and brown patina, walnut stocks are very good to excellent, with no cracks, some finish loss, pistol grip is stamped 67 (rack number) comes with a period leather sling, with hook eye, fine action, and strong clean bore.
