20" barrel in .30-30 WCF caliber. Standard 1962 manufacture 1894 carbine. Features full magazine, ramp front sight with hood, sporting rear sight, two barrel bands, blue finish, no ring, short forend, walnut stock, checkered steel shotgun buttplate. Sling swivels have been added to buttstock and magazine tube. No flutes. Gun is in excellent condition. Barrel has 97% original factory blue with muzzle wear. Magazine tube retains 98%. Frame retains 90% with high edge wear and thinning on top and bottom. Wood is excellent, proud to metal, with no cracks or chips, just the usual minor abrasions. Strong rifled bore and perfect action. Left side of frame has been drilled and filled for scope base.
