20” barrel in .30 WCF caliber. Standard 1937 manufacture 1894 carbine. Features full magazine, ramp front sight (no hood), sporting rear sight, two barrel bands, blue finish, no ring, long for-end, walnut stock, serrated steel shotgun butt plate. Sling swivels have been added to buttstock and barrel band. No flutes. Gun is in excellent condition. Barrel has 97% original factory blue with light muzzle wear. Magazine tube retains 85% starting to thin. Frame retains 95%-96% with minor high edge wear. Wood is excellent, proud to metal, with no cracks or chips. Strong rifled bore and perfect action. This is a lovely pre-war carbine with near mint stocks showing very little signs of use.
