20" barrel in .30 WCF caliber. Standard 1943-48 manufacture 1894 carbine. Features full magazine, ramp front sight with hood, sporting rear sight, two barrel bands, blue finish, no ring, long forend, walnut stock, checkered steel shotgun buttplate. Sling swivels have been added to buttstock and magazine tube. No flutes. Gun is in excellent condition. Barrel has 98% original factory blue with light muzzle wear. Magazine tube retains 98%. Frame retains 95% with minor high edge wear. Wood is excellent, proud to metal, with no cracks or chips. Strong rifled bore and perfect action. Nice early flat-band World War II era carbine in overall near mint condition. Does have a small pencil lead-sized chip at left wrist, otherwise wood is near mint.
