20” barrel in .44-40 caliber. Offered is a fine condition Spanish pre-war copy of the Winchester Model 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine. Features full round barrel, full magazine, two barrel bands, blued finish, walnut stock, steel carbine butt plate, dovetail front sight, folding carbine ladder rear sight, saddle ring and stud, case colored hammer and lever, sling swivel in butt and rear barrel band. This carbine is in fine all original condition. Barrel retains 80%-90% original factory blue starting to patina. Tube is a mix of blue-brown patina. Barrel bands are brown patina. Frame retains approximately 80%-85% original factory blue with some thinning on high edges, light age freckling, and some patina mixing through. Strong case colors on sides of hammer and lever. Wood stocks are excellent, proud to metal, with no cracks or chips. Has an etched letter ‘G’ in a circle on left stock. Strong clean rifled bore and perfect action.
