23-1/4” barrel in .38-40 WCF caliber. This rifle was customized as follows: barrel was shortened and has slight radius to crown; caliber was re -stamped; barrel legend is strong and readable; full octagon barrel; full magazine. Several parts are gold plated to include; front sight, rear sporting sight, magazine band, forend tip, side plates, dust cover, hammer, lever, screws, and buttplate; balance of gun is blue; excellent walnut stocks. Stocks have been refinished, have no cracks or chips, with beautiful grain. All metal surfaces approximately 90%-95% of the re-applied finish. Strong rifled bore with minor abrasion. Fine action. Very striking gun.
