20" barrel in .38-40 caliber. Manufactured 1886. This rifle has been customized: the full octagon barrel has been cut to 20"; magazine has been shortened to 2/3 magazine. Features original sights, strong legends, re-blued side plates. Frame and barrel are a soft grey patina with some wiped-on added finish. Stocks are excellent, finished added but not over sanded. Very good rifled bore with minor abrasion. Fine action.
