22" barrel in caliber .30-40 Krag. Manufactured 1905. Standard issue Winchester Model 1895 Saddle Ring Carbine. Features round barrel, blued finish, walnut buttstock with carbine butt, forearm with hand groove, military style hand guard, military style folding leaf sight, and saddle ring and stud on right side. All metal is a smooth mix of blue-brown patina. Walnut stocks are very good to excellent, proud to metal with no cracks. Fine action. Strong rifled bore.
