22" barrel in caliber .30-06. This special rifle was manufactured in 1981 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the introduction of Remington's first big bore semi-automatic rifle, the Model 8. Only 1,500 were produced. Features high polish blue barrel with adjustable rear sight and ramp front. The frame has lovely engraving on both sides. Left side has gold inlay of hunters in canoe and a bear. Right side has gold inlay of two automatic rifles with commemorative title. Other features include deluxe oil finished checkered walnut stocks with rosewood grip cap and solid red rubber recoil pad. Rifle is as new unfired. Box magazine semi-automatic. Original box with paper and outer sleeve. Beautiful semi-automatic big bore.
