22” barrel in .22 rimfire caliber. The No. 4 Rolling Block rifle was made from 1890 to 1933. This is a scarce Takedown model. This rifle also exhibits checkering on forend and wrist. The round barrel retains virtually all of the original blue finish with some light freckling. Has the Remington rear sight. Takedown frame retains nearly all of the brilliant case colors. Checkered walnut stocks are in near mint condition. Has the Remington logo smooth steel buttplate. Strong clean bore. Perfect action. Even the screws retain virtually all of the original high polish finish. This is the first deluxe Takedown No. 4 we have encountered and remains in near new condition. The barrel is numbered to the frame and has all proper Remington proofs. Very rare rifle in this configuration and condition.
