26" barrel in caliber .30 WCF. The NRA commemorative musket was manufactured in 1971. Up until that point it was the first lever action musket to be made since the original pre-war models. Featured a walnut full length handguard with walnut buttstock and carbine butt, barrel band with nose cap, sling swivels, folding carbine rear sight. Left side of frame is stamped "NRA 1871 - 1971". Has a silver coin on right side of stock. Comes in original box with all paperwork and artwork sleeve. This commemorative used some of the nicest dark walnut ever used on a commemorative.
