First rifle is a British Enfield No. 4 Mk I with a 25” barrel in caliber .303 British. Standard issue blued finish, walnut stock, brass butt hplate. Excellent condition with bayonet. Retains the majority of its factory blue finish. Excellent stocks. The second gun is a Model 1898 U.S. Krag with a 22” barrel in .30-40 Krag. This was a standard rifle that was converted to carbine length. This was often done and sold as surplus through firms such as Bannermans. Stock and barrel were shortened and front sight reset. Has the original military style rear sight, original hand guard, original U.S. barrel band, and fire blue extractor. Sharp legends. Cartouche on left side “J.S.A. 1903”. This was not a hack job but professionally done. Fine bore and action.
