Gun A) A single shot, musket with no makers mark. 37 - 3/4" barrel with a smooth 10bore. Full stock, three barrel bands, sling swivels, numerous tack decorations on butt and forend, iron furniture, wood is very good, repaired crack on left side and wrist. Comes in an Indian - style blanket scabbard. Gun B) A double hammer, side by side percussion shotgun. 12bore. Side plate is stamped "E. James & Co.", top of barrel is stamped "London Fine Twist". Period oak rod with a barrel length of 35 - 1/2". One piece walnut stock, checkered wrist, single wedge, steel buttplate, wood is excellent. Gun is very tight, double triggers, basically brown patina.
