Barrel length is 30". Has a 3" chamber and a modified choke. Manufactured in 1952. This is rather scarce in that the majority of these models were choked full. Features a factory applied Simmons rib with donut posts, white bead middle sight, with red bead front. Has a clean shiny bore, perfect action. Has a flat bottom grooved walnut fore-end with fourteen grooves. Has the plain walnut pistol grip stock with a 13-3/4" LOP to a period solid red rubber Winchester pad. This early shotgun remains in excellent all original condition. Frame has 95 percent original blue with light high edge wear. Barrel and tube in matching fine condition. Stocks are excellent, no cracks or chips. When referring to the book "The Model 12" by Dave Riffle on page 142, they do not show this model available in modified choke. This would have to have been a special factory order.
