The first shotgun was manufactured by A.H. Fox Gun Co, Philadelphia. Has the Krupp fluid steel barrels, is an A grade twelve bore. Has manual ejectors, 27 1/8 inch barrels, full matted rim, twin white bead sights, has a 2 1/2 inch chamber. Left barrel is choked full, right barrel is choked improved. Barrels retain approximately 50%-60% original blue finish. Solid, no dents. Excellent clean bores. All matching numbers. Has box lock with sharp legends, traces of finish, checkered round knob walnut stock with splinter for-end. For-end checkering shows wear. Lovely walnut stocks. Has a period double wrist repair. Has an ancient leather covered Hawkins pad with a 14 7/8 LOP to front trigger. Locks up tight with no wiggle. Release lever at 5 o’clock. This would be a lovely shotgun for restoration. The second gun is an antique double barrel 10 bore with under lever release. No fore-end (Manufactured without one). Has 32 1/8” barrels, double hammer, double side plate, no manufacturers stamps. Has walnut straight English style stock in very good condition with smooth steel butt plate. Lock up is tight. Bores have some residue. Double triggers. Metal slightly proud to wood.
