26" barrel in caliber .22 rimfire. Offered is an excellent, all original No. 2 sporting rifle. The full octagon barrel is a pleasing blue mixed with soft patina, razor sharp edges, and sharp legends. Standard sporting sights. Has the octagon cut frame, walnut forend with Schnauble in ebony, walnut buttstock with S-curve buttplate, fire blue hammer and block, and case colored frame. Top of barrel is stamped "Remington Arms Co., Ilion, NY". Left side of frame has the six-line patent. Case colors have light brown patina. Stocks are excellent, proud to metal, with original finish and no cracks or chips. Rifling visible but not good. Fine action.
