French. Circa 1890. Jumeau poured bisque socket head with red artists marks, blue paperweight eyes, finely painted brows and lashes, closed mouth, pierced ears, curly brown wig over kid with cork pate, and bisque hands holding a banjo and pick. Wearing original floral silk and lace suit with tails. Seated on a molded papier mache tree stump containing musical clockwork mechanism. When operated the figure moved head up, down, left and right, while strumming his instrument.

Condition: (Very Good - Excellent).
