Cal 12 bore, Barrel length 20”. 2-3/4” chamber, cylinder choked. All original with matching for-end Stevens Model 620A WWII trench shotgun. Falls directly in the middle of the accepted serial range, dull brushed blue finish, stamped “Model 620” on left side of frame, left side is stamped “US” and has the P over the ordinance bomb. This same stamp is also found on the right side of the barrel. The ventilated hand guard has the six rows of vents, proper purple hue to the front bayonet lug assembly with sling swivel. The plain pistol grip walnut stock with black composite butt plate, rear butt sling swivel, right side has the J Stevens address. Magazine tube is grey patina. Handguard retains 90% high polish blue finish. Stocks are near mint and proud to metal. Bottom of frame finish is thinning and stamped “Ms” on trigger guard. Sides and top of frame retains 90% original blue finish with high edge wear. Mirror bore, perfect action. Exceedingly fine all original never messed with Stevens U.S. trench gun with all matching parts and numbers.
