Barrel length is 25”, caliber is .22 rimfire. Model 511A Score Master was introduced in 1939. It is a bolt action, magazine fed, five shot, repeating rifle with blued finish, plain walnut [pistol grip stock with black composite buttplate. The rear sight has been removed and a globe front sight has been added to the front and a Lyman precision peep sight at rear. Frame retains approximately 98% original blue. Barrel is a mix of blue and gun metal patina. Walnut stock is excellent, has swing swivels, fine bore and action. This rifle comes in a scarce original pre- war style box with proper end label and two factory booklets. Box is somewhat tattered but it is there.
