Barrel length is 4-1/2”, caliber is .22 long rifle. This pistol was manufactured in 1953 and was purchased by the United States Marine Corp and stamped on right side of frame “USMC property.” Standard features; blued finish, adjustable rear sight, Colt black composite grips and a Colt stamped magazine. This pistol has seen much use. Grip straps have turned gun metal grey. There is finish wear to right side of slide, muzzle wear, sides of barrel are thinning. All legends perfect, a fine bore and action. Overall metal finish is approximately 70%-75%. Any Marine Core stamped weapon is extremely rare and hard to find and most of these, when they surface, show wear.
