Barrel length is 16”. This Finnish firearm was used to fight off Soviet Forces during the winter war of 1940 and showed the world the importance of sub-machine guns to modern warfare. Used by mostly Finnish and Swedish armies, it was also widely exported into Baltic countries, some European and South American countries. Although manufacturing of the Suomi in Finland ceased in 1944, it was widely used throughout the world well into the 1990’s. This Suomi M31 has been converted to Semi-Automatic and fires 9mm parabellum rounds from a 36 round stick or 71 round drum magazine. This semi -automatic model was introduced in 2009 by the TNW Company of Verona Oregon. They are not auto production. This example features the matte military finish with hardwood stock, original drum magazine. Stock is very good, shows use. Interesting semi -automatic version of the WWI.
CORRECTION: Includes two 36 stick magazines.
