Caliber is .38-55 wcf, barrel length is 26”. Manufactured in 1910. The offered rifle is the classic 1894 model with full octagon barrel, full magazine, blued finish, walnut stocks with rifle butt plate. Chambered for the largest caliber in this model available at the time, the .38-55 Winchester. This rifle remains in excellent all original condition with lots of finish. The barrel and tube and for-end cap retain approximately 90% of the original high polish factory blue with sharp edges and perfect legends. The frame retains approximately 85%-95% of the high polish blued finish on the sides. Thinning and turning patina at base from carry. Bolt retain approximately 70% original blue. The hammer and lever have strong amounts of case color on sides. Original walnut stocks are excellent, never touched with most original finish and no cracks of any kind. Has a strong perfect bore and action. A lovely classic 94 in .38 caliber. Factory research: serial number applied July 22, 1911. No other information.
