Comprised of: 1) Straight blade officer’s sword has a 32-5/8” blade with one small fuller, stamped: “Thomas Aiala”. Solid brass hilt, pommel and wire wrapped grip. Knuckle bow etched with flowers. Minor dark spots. 2) German officer’s sword has a 32-3/4” straight blade with one fuller, etched with flowers, eagle, and crown. Blade marked: “In Berlin. In fuller, Adolph Von Benrigtz Novvr 1804”on one side, the other side is dated “1854”. Brass hilt with wood grips. Several nicks and black spots, wood grips are split, hilt with numerous white paint spots.
