6" barrel in .32 ACP. Referred to as the 'Long Barrel Pocket Auto', and sometimes as the 'Du Mond', this standard Model 1903 pistol features the barrel extension and a replaced rear sight. Examples of these conversions can be found on page 27 in the "Colt Pocket Hammerless Automatic Pistols II" by John W. Brunner. A similar collarless barrel extension with sight can be seen in figure 33. The original front sight has been removed from the top of the slide. Slide retains approximately 70% of the blue mixing with patina. Frame, straps and barrel extension retain approximately 90% original blue with high edge wear. Pistol sports the checkered walnut panels with Colt silver medallions. Near mint bore. Has original stamped magazine. Interesting Colt alteration that resembles a standard pistol with what appears to be a silencer but is actually rifled.
