24" barrel in .22 LR caliber. This rifle was manufactured in 1898. Factory research indicates rifle shipped as standard with factory case colored frame. Has a 24" full octagon barrel, 2/3 magazine, sporting sights, grooved walnut forend, and walnut buttstock with rifle butt. This early case colored takedown Model 1890 remains in excellent all original condition. The barrel and tube retain approximately 90% original blue starting to blend. Razor sharp edges and legends. Stocks are excellent, proud to metal, with no cracks, and only just a couple of very minor impressions. Frame retains traces of case colors but has basically silvered out. Even the bolt retains the majority of the factory blue finish. Perfect action. Strong clean bore. A lovely, early, all original 1890.
