The tunic of black wool with stand-up collar, sleeve facings and shoulder straps of red, all profusely embroidered in bullion wire. Front with black cording and toggles. Dealer label in neck area reading: "Claret & Cia Civil e Militar". Buenos Aires. Medal loop on left chest. Black lining with chest area in diamond pattern. Sleeves with three small brass buttons each. Back with lace, black tape and two large brass buttons. Showing wear, age patina to bullion and minor mothing.
