9/16" smooth bores, 13-3/8" barrels with inlaid silver sights and three gold lines, the one nearest the breech expanded with floral scrolls. Tang engraved with band of chevrons and surrounded by an inlaid row of tiny silver ovals interspersed with equal beads of silver. This border is flanked by silver wire in scrolls and inlaid silver blossoms terminating with a pineapple inlay. Below this is a large oval of stylized elements of armor with two inlaid silver flowers below. The butts are adorned with high-relief castings of a panoply of arms narrowing to florals at the languets. The counter plate of silver depicts a panoply of arms, flags, drums and cannons being pronounced. The silver trigger guard ok embellished with depictions of a helmet, drums, cannon and bear a hallmark on the rear tang. The lock mechanism ok gooseneck cocks and while edges are engraved with dentates, the locks are unsigned. Mounted in walnut stock with horn fore-ends. Hardwood ramrods held in place by silver thimbles. Both barrels showing mellow age patina. Fore-ends have been incised with irregular linear lines. Locks with age patina but no flints. One stock showing a tiny crack at front edge of lock and splinter chips at grip. Both mechanisms function well.
