A marvelous example of not only a French toy but a race car too! The size is most impressive as well as the originality, the overall condition, but most stunning is the original papier mache goggled driver sitting upon the leather seats. Finished in a deep blue w/gilt trims and red spoked wheels w/ rubber tires. Amazingly even the spare rubber tire is intact perched on a hook behind the driver. Further adding to this toys allure are the dual front lights, the elaborate horn and the seat chains keeping the driver within the vehicle. One does not need to own a lot of toys only a handful of examples such as this.
