7-1/2" barrel in .36 percussion caliber. Standard features include full octagon barrel, six shot, single action, brass back strap and trigger guard, and one piece walnut grips. This is a civilian model manufactured in 1864. All metal is a freckled grey patina with strong cylinder scene and legends. Untouched brass. Very good grips with a chip at toe and traces of original varnish. Missing the wedge locking screw. All matching numbers including the wedge. Cylinder does not index. There is some disfiguration of metal along the left side rear of the barrel. Has an added front sight. Very good rifling with usual abrasion.
