26" barrel in .30 WCF caliber. This antique Winchester was manufactured in 1897. Standard features include full octagon barrel, full magazine, blued finish, sporting sights, walnut stocks, and rifle buttplate. Barrel retains approximately 60% original factory blue mixed with patina and some age spotting. Tube is a blend of blue and grey mixed patina. Left side of frame retains approximately 60% blue, right side at 20%. Balance is smooth patina. Walnut stocks are very good, proud to metal, with usual dings, no cracks, just a minor sliver missing at left and right wrist and tang. Strong clean bore. Fine action.
