3" barrel in .22 rimfire. The rimfire rounds are loaded into the top ejection port through a spring-fed magazine and locked into place on the right side, at which point, simply by squeezing the forward portion, feeds and ejects the cartridges. There are no maker's stamps, but is very similar to the Rouchouse pistol featured on page 85 in the "Firearms Curiosa" book by Winant. Referred to by collectors as a "Palm Squeezer". The barrel and ejector are polished in the white. Balance is a smooth brown patina. Very good to excellent checkered black composite grips. Very good rifled bore. Seems to function fine. Very interesting and scarce 19th century palm pistol.
