Blue painted body with 7-3/8” diameter x 2- ½” wide. Front engraved with initials “DA”, the “A” in the Old English 18th century style with “J.R.” stamped below, possibly a maker’s stamp. This is the style used in the American Revolutionary War. Period wood plug on top, three leather loops for strap. Excellent condition, retaining 90% of old blue paint, some scattered marks from use and some edge wear.
