Mountain Man by Frederic Remington, is signed "copyright by Frederic Remington" next to the front outstretched leg of the horse. In this sculpture, the horse and rider are making their way down a very steep path. The horse's head is near the ground, watching each hesitant step that it makes. While the horse is gingerly walking down this steep path, the rider holds on the reins and rests his head on the back of the horse to steady himself. Overall this sculpture is in good condition.
