1-1/8" barrel in .41 bore. Offered is a fine London marked and inspected center hammer, flintlock, single shot, folding trigger boot pistol with the removable barrel and top tang safety. It is constructed with the single piece walnut bag handle with nickel ID plaque on back (engraved W.P.). Frame is lightly engraved. Features the flintlock action with the centered hammer. Pistol is a smooth bore. All original including flintlock. Metal is a grey patina with fine engraving on frame. Original walnut stocks are excellent and well fitting with no cracks. The trigger falls when hammer is cocked and is in perfect working condition. Screw-on barrel is not rifled. Very fine, all original mid-18th century flintlock boot pistol. The pipe tomahawk is a more contemporary piece but extremely well-executed. The iron head has some light engraving. Wood staff is decorated with copper bands and metal brads. Partial leather wrap. Bone tip and horse hair decoration. the head is dark patina with some light pitting.
