6.5x55mm with a 29" barrel. This rifle was manufactured by Carl Gustafs, dated 1904. Matching numbers on rear sight, rear sight base, bolt release, safety, bolt, floorplate, rear barrel band, front barrel band, and buttplate. Import marked under barrel. No number on stock. Wood appears unfinished and is in near mint condition with no cracks. Has brass disc and acceptance marks on wrist. Several crown stamps. Barrel and receiver retain approximately 90% original blue. Fire blue on sight base and bolt release. 50% finish on barrel bands. Excellent bore and action. One of the finest Mausers ever made.
