Rifle sports a 20" barrel in caliber .44-40. Colt Single Action Army revolver has a 7-1/2" barrel in caliber .44-40. New, never levered or turned. The rifle is a Model 94 carbine with full round barrel, full magazine, Buckhorn sporting rear sight, gold plated leaf and post front sight, blue finish, deluxe checkered oil finished walnut stock with blued rifle buttplate, straight grip, case colored lever, with gold engraving and inlays on both sides of barrel and frame. The revolver is a 7-1/2" Colt Single Action Army with the old style black powder frame, case colored. Cylinder is not fluted. Walnut grips. Beautiful gold inlay engraving on barrel, cylinder, and backstrap. Both weapons are chambered for the .44-40 cartridge and are housed in an original French fitted oak display case with matching medallions. Case has set name on top. One of the finest matched sets ever manufactured.
