This delightful donkey is standing, unjointed, and made from grey mohair. He has a black mohair mane, this same material details the tip of his tail. His ears and open mouth are lined in tan felt. His face comes to life with black shoebutton eyes (one loose) and traces of black airbrushing highlights. He rides upon a black metal carriage and four blue-painted wheels. His cord-activated voice is working. He retains his original blue felt blanket, red leather saddle, and partial red leather reins, as well as his trailing “f” Steiff button as his ID. This very popular model was made overall in 10 sizes ranging from 14 cm to 150 cm in the 1914-1943 timeframe. Condition: As noted. Donkey with general playwear and mohair thinning, but entirely structurally sound with no holes. Good to very good condition overall.
Item Dimensions: 18" T.
